We're currently experiencing issues with mail3 that we're working on, no ETA.

I said earlier, no ETA, but mail3 is working just fine right now from what I've heard. (not working right now, just trying to clear up some work issues)

I've got a client with mail in his outbox (this is a mail3 client). He sent a message to me (vortech-to-vortech) and it went fine and left the outbox. Other messages stay in the outbox and are sent over and over. I've had this before with other clients and it is somehow due to a problem at the server.
Is mail3 really working today without any issues? I've already (re)submitted a ticket. |

any update on mail3? My Clients are having time outs and getting prompted for the password today since about 10:30pm EST.
Also I would like to point out: I have sent a test mail from one of the domains and received the same test email 6 times now on my gmail account. Last edited by WalkerL55; 11-20-2008 at 04:01 PM.. |

I'm also getting complaints from clients this morning. This is the 3rd time this server has been having issues within a week. Can someone let us know what is going on with this server please?

Some of my customers are smart enough to look at the server status such as:
MAIL3 SNMP Disk Check CRITICAL 11-25-2008 09:07:24 0d 4h 52m 30s 4/4 /hsphere: less than 10% free (= 90%) They see the less than 10% free, see that its critical and when they don't see it get resolved they are like "what kind of operation are you guys running?" Doesn't help that I can't respond "We are adding additional space on xx/xx/2008 to fix this". We need to have something - anything - we can communicate to the customer. And IF it doesn't happen by then, we also need to be able to communicate why and give them an updated timeline. Not asking for alot here VT, just for improved communications that will improve relationships with resold customers.

90% of what, of how much, if we have a 1 terabyte hd that means we have 100 gigs left, not sure what the issue is

Bottom line = mail problems over last 2 months have caused angst among resold customers, causing some to leave. We have no answers to the numerous posts out here on a formal plan for fixing the multitude of issues experienced. Anything that enables us to relay a formal fix plan for the email (whether space, upgrades, spamassasin related) would go a long way to improving customer relations.
So - any formal plans for email upgrades or improvements?
