OK.. I registered my domain through none of the ones mentioned on the tutorial.
This registrar does not provide the oppourtunity to submit my DNS Entries.
Can I still register these Name Servers with say Network Solutions? I am looking for the papwork, and so far drawing a blank.
Thanks,
cjmelhorn

I am having name server problems also, and too, my registrar has no way for me to maintenance them. How did you solve your problem?

ixie, who's your registrar?
Typically if there is no control panel via your registrar to make these changes, you have to send in a request for them to register your nameservers.

I use namebargain.com which is owned by register.com. They have an online way to do it. But the company I consult for uses DnBuy.com and they have no way to do it. I called them to register my name servers and they assigned all 3 of them the same ip address!

is it possible you can email/call them to set them straight on the IP issue?
Sounds like a real half-a**ed registrar. You're better off not using anyone affiliated with Register.com or netsol - have you seen their unsatisfactory BBB ratings?
Really sad business practices :(

I will recommend transfer your domain to godaddy.com. Or you may transfer it to me :). I can give you reseller account (not eNom - 7.99 per domain .com/.net/.org). Godaddy's and my Control Panel is allowing managing your name servers. Also it is good idea to choose .net or .com domain name as service domain.
Sincerely
