I am on NT19 and using mail.hsphere.cc as my mail server.
Maybe I should change to mail1 or mail2 ?

if it is your service domain, you should use mail1 or mail2 depending on your assigned server.
use mailX.yourservicedomain.com instead of hspere.cc.
Someone correct me if I am wrong!

No ,right now I am using mail.mydomain.com as my mail server.
It is an alias to mail.hsphere.cc .I got that part
But I am wondering if I can change to mail1.mydomain.com
or mail2.mydomain.com which is an alias to mail1.hsphere.cc
and mail2.hsphere.cc ?
I really think there is a problem with the mail server
mail.hsphere.cc
Is there is anybody who is using mail and not mail1 or mail2
experiencing the same problem like i do ?

If you are having an issue, submit a trouble ticket so a tech can look into it.

I am having a problem too and am running on mail2
This is the error I get:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your user name or password was rejected. Server Respons: '-err authorization failed'. (Account:'NetHost-Billing', Pop3server:'mail2.itecnethost.net', error number: 0x800ccc92).
I can however send / receive mail using webmail.

correct me if i am wrong--we haven't really ever had issues with mails being 'lost', have we?
trouble tickets are truly the best route to take when having difficulties with server performance, errors, etc. the forum is more of a place to share ideas, and exchange thoughts about the world of web hosting. you know a community--a gathering for young go-getters who want to make a difference in the web-hosting world. (did i just say that?)
think happy thoughts and mention email trouble in TROUBLE TICKETS....
yours truly.
